Lahooti Melo 2020

Eco, not ego

A two-day festival embracing environmental consciousness over personal interests. Fusing music, art, and discussions, it united global and local talents to champion sustainability. Beyond entertainment, it advocated for an eco-friendly world, reinforcing the power of collective action for a greener future. My role every year, is to create a unique identity for the festival in relevance to its theme. From different music stages to web and merch design, this identity shapes the festival's visual experience physically and online.

Artist Statement

For Lahooti Melo 2020, my visual language was a heartfelt tribute to indigenous wisdom and our profound connection to the land. Inspired by cultures that see the Earth as a nurturing mother, my designs carried a potent ecological message. They echoed the festival's theme, "Eco Not Ego," emphasizing our responsibility to give back to the land that sustains us. It was a visual narrative of our collective duty to create a greener, more sustainable world, aligning perfectly with the festival's mission of environmental consciousness through music, art, and discussions.
