Celebrating Indus
Lahooti Melo 2022, along with its accompanying event, "Coming Together," continued its celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Indus region, following the previous year's theme of "Celebrating Indus." This special fundraiser, "Coming Together," was dedicated to supporting flood relief efforts in Sindh. Through the mediums of music, art, and dialogue, it honored the resilience of the Indus communities, fostering unity for a significant cause.

Coming Together
Fundraiser for Flood Relief
To symbolize the harmonious coming together of diverse generations and genders within the community through music and dance, the design philosophy drew inspiration from the clothing, culture, and vibrant colors of Sindh's Bhakti tradition. This tradition beautifully represents the unique synergy between Hindus and Muslims.
The event provided an opportunity for young musical talents to unite for the cause of flood relief and engage in inter-generational dialogues through the mediums of music and the arts.
